Ecommerce analytics consultant

Your data should be giving you decisions. It isn't.

I help Heads of Ecommerce and CMOs at €1M+ brands turn messy data into decisions their team can execute. Clean tracking, fixed attribution, the rest follows.
ecommerce analytics consultant Ivan Panchenko

Why work with me

I work inside ecommerce teams, not from the outside. I know what messy Google Analytics looks like, why attribution breaks, and how to get a team from data to decisions.
  • In-house ecommerce analyst at a global fashion brand, turning data into commercial decisions daily
  • Built and run GA4 setups across 14+ markets, including enterprise-scale ecommerce
  • End-to-end stack expertise: server-side tracking, CAPI, consent, BigQuery — both the plumbing and the analysis

How I can help

Three ways to work together. Most teams start with the audit, expand into a project and then graduate to partnership.

Tracking & Data Audit

Trustworthy data foundation your team can act on.

A full audit of your tracking setup: GA4, GTM, server-side, CAPI, consent. I find where the data is wrong and what it’s costing you.
You leave with a prioritized fix list your team (or mine) can execute.

Analytics Project

One commercial question, answered with your data.

When the tracking is clean but the decision isn’t — which channels actually pay back, where the funnel is leaking, what your reporting should really surface — we scope it as a single project. You get the analysis, the recommendation, and the next move.

How most teams work with me

  1. Start with a Tracking & Data Audit
  2. Expand into an Analytics Project
  3. Graduate to an ongoing Partnership

Analytics Partnership

The senior analyst your team can't justify hiring full-time.

Monthly retainer with prioritized analyst time, working sessions with your team, and ongoing access for the decisions that come up between them. The output isn’t reports — it’s the next move on the next call.

CASE STUDY

Lisbon boutique hotel chain · Hospitality

How a reservation funnel audit uncovered hidden revenue for a boutique hotel chain.

Problem

The hotel's online booking engine had healthy traffic but poor conversion. Ancillary services (spa, in-room services, transfers) were barely selling despite being profitable margin drivers.

What I did

A full audit of the reservation journey identified key drop-off points across the booking flow. Data-driven changes to the funnel resulted in measurable improvements across both conversion and ancillary revenue.

Result

Overall conversion rate improved by +0.3pp. Ancillary services uptake also increased significantly (including in-room extras and add-ons) driving average order value up as a result.
